Dancer

Berry, cherry, pillar box reds, aubergines, pinks and purple hues are individually blended and then used to decorate teardrop shapes which delicately dangle from earrings, chokers and bracelets. This teardrop motif is used throughout the collection and the effect is reminiscent of the cloisonné enamelling technique. Colours are used tonally and are set off brilliantly when decorating 22ct gold pieces and each hanging teardrop shape moves individually giving life to each piece. The collection has character that is about vibrancy; fluidity, movement and colour with the focus being on each individual item being created from multiple delicate pieces that together form a stunning piece. Delicate in form yet bold in style this collection is eye-catching and striking whilst being at home with current trends.

Greco

Greco is a direct continuation of its sister collection Deco and although it takes on its own character and feel, it relates to and can be worn alongside Deco. This collection compliments contemporary fashion, and is very at home alongside current trends with its distinctly Byzantine influence remaining timeless.

Greco is created using silver and 22ct gold plate with coloured resins to decorate. The collection focuses on items having an element of weight to them. Bold chunky bangles and rings alongside pendants and hoop earrings form the body of work. Pigments are individually blended to create a peacock palette of beautiful blue and green tones ranging from vibrant turquoise and periwinkle blue to peppermint and sea greens.

Souvenir

Exquisite and colourful miniature paintings of songbirds, peacocks and exotic birds are set under clear resin, revealing the beautiful picture beneath. Brooches, bracelets, chokers and earrings are then formed around these paintings using silver and 22ct gold with strung pearls echoing the colours throughout. The whole collection has an artisan quality due to being hand made and thereby ensuring a completely unique collection.

Inspired by the idea that a piece of jewellery is a unique, special treasure, perhaps found in a junk shop or antique market Emily Bedford wants the onlooker on first seeing Souvenir to experience the feeling of discovering an antique treasure trove.

The look is intricate, romantic and delicate in character, designed to evoke feelings of nostalgia and a reminiscing of times past.
